Our next event at the Komedia in Brighton will be on Wednesday 26th June this year after we really enjoyed our first gig there with so many of you last summer.
We’ll be showcasing the best of Steely Dan’s music in a new show developed for the Komedia including many that our audiences have requested at our previous events in the last few years.

The Robertsbridge Club
It’s great to be back again this season playing at the Robertsbridge Club, our home venue where we performed for the very first time back in 2021 in their great refurbished venue space with the long bar.
Since then we’ve played on numerous occasions in London and Brighton as well as in venues across the South East including Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells , Eastbourne and Hastings, but it’s always a thrill to play in front of a home audience and have a bit of a party!
Join us for an evening of the best of Steely Dan’s music played with great commitment to the original album versions and with enthusiasm and humour for a great musical night out.

The East Dulwich Tavern
We loved playing at this large and popular pub when we played it for the first time last June and we’re delighted to be back!
We will be bringing our new Season 3 sets of the best of Steely Dan’s music (relatively) new and old, from their amazing back catalogue from Can’t Buy A Thrill onwards and including their greatest songs from their best-loved albums.
This year there will still be seating at the front for those who want it (and can turn up early) but more room for the audience to get to the bar, (and to dance, if you want to!) as we were sold out for this event last year.

The Bedford, Balham
This will be the first performance of our new 2024 season and we are really looking forward to bringing to the Bedford our best ever show of Steely Dan songs, new and old, with our full 12 piece band of experienced jazz and rock musicians.
As huge Steely Dan fans ourselves we love to faithfully capture the original album Steely Dan harmonies and the well-known guitar and horns solos with our guitarists and our really tight four piece jazz horn section and soloists.
Join us a for a memorable evening of Steely Dan's music at this wonderfully characterful Victorian pub and popular 'big top' music venue, with its superb acoustics and sound reproduction.

Strictly Dan are playing at Effra Social on Thursday 23rd November!
Our first visit to another great music venue on Thursday 23rd November, the Effra Social in Brixton, where our sax player Joe has played before, is another characterful new venue we are really looking forward to playing in with our full 12 piece band later this year.
Lots of cabaret tables with first come, first served seating will still leave plenty of room for those preferring to stand or sit at the long bar - or get up and dance as the mood takes you!

We’ve been really looking forward to our return to the Brunswick Live on Saturday 30th September after we had so much fun at our last play there in Autumn 2022!

East Dulwich Tavern
A new London location for us in 2023 in East Dulwich, at this welcoming, large and much-loved local pub.
Its music venue is perfectly suited to our band with its cabaret style layout and own bar, with plenty of unreserved seating and room for dancing. We look forward to seeing you there at our first gig of many, we hope, on Friday 9th June.

We are delighted to be playing again at our favourite Strictly Dan venue in London - the Bedford, in Balham, and now a regular home venue for us playing Steely Dan music in the capital.
We have made so many friends here and can’t wait to bring our new 2023 sets to this buzzing and beautiful venue once again. This will be our third time playing at the Bedford, reunited with venue Sound Manager Francesco, who always knows how to make us sound at our best in this lovely Victorian big top of a venue.
There are so many ringside seats available - downstairs and in the gallery - that everyone should be able to find a seat with a great view and a drink from the always-open bar in the venue itself.
This is a wonderful place in which to round off the weekend, singing along or dancing with us - or just sitting down and letting the Steely Dan vibes steal over you for a relaxed evening of live music.

St. Mary In The Castle, Hastings
This really is a beautiful and quirky Grade II Listed building in Hastings with amazing acoustics and a great reputation as a concert venue. We will be bringing four singers to take full advantage of this.
Plus Hastings is a great music town with so much going on - and from our previous experience a lot of them must be Steely Dan fans. We look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible to what will be a memorable occasion in this grand seaside location right opposite the sea front.

9th April is when we’re really looking forward to playing in the Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells onstage in the auditorium with comfortable seating for 300 and high quality sound reproduction.

This gig will see us playing with Band Without Boundaries, a band of musicians who have each overcome challenges to be able to play their music, led by their Musical Director Joe Browne of Strictly Dan.
Putting this event on has been the goal and impetus of forming Strictly Dan, originally inspired by - and with much appreciated support from - Stanley Dee and Simply Dan - two wonderful exponents of playing Steely Dan’s music. If you love Steely Dan do go along and catch them when you can.
